British womenswear brand Me+Em plans to open a Houston store and a second Los Angeles location by the end of 2026, according to an October 20 report from This is Money carried by MSN.

The planned openings combine geographic expansion with a deeper commitment to an existing US market. Houston would add a store in Texas, while the second Los Angeles location would increase the brand’s physical presence in the California city.

Two routes to US growth

The distinction matters strategically: opening in another city broadens a retailer’s reach, while adding a second location in an established market creates more opportunities to serve local customers. For Me+Em, the plans make physical stores a visible part of its next phase of American expansion.

The year-end target leaves a short window for both openings. Exact opening dates, store addresses and investment amounts were not provided in the available information, which also does not establish the size of Me+Em’s overall US estate or the American market’s contribution to sales.

British visibility, American execution

At home, Me+Em benefits from prominent public exposure. The Daily Express reported on October 16 that Catherine, Princess of Wales, had worn the label’s £195 Fair Isle jumper during an engagement in Cornwall. The publication noted that she had worn Me+Em on numerous previous occasions.

The Express reported that two sizes of the jumper were unavailable at the time of writing. That is a narrow snapshot of product availability, rather than evidence of company-wide demand or US sales, but the coverage illustrates the attention the brand attracts in Britain.

The American expansion poses a different test: converting brand recognition into sustained local custom. Houston and the additional Los Angeles store would give Me+Em more places to do that, although the available information does not yet show how its existing US locations are performing.
