What we collect

We collect your email address when you subscribe to Europe → America Weekly, and the details you choose to provide when you submit a story or send us a message through the contact form — typically your name, email address, company and the content of your message.

How we use it

Subscriber email addresses are used only to send the newsletter, which is delivered through our newsletter provider. Story submissions and contact messages are used only to respond to you and to consider the material for editorial coverage. We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Analytics and cookies

We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which stories are read. This records aggregated usage, such as page views and referring sites, and is not used to build advertising profiles. We do not set advertising cookies.

Retention

Subscriber data is kept until you unsubscribe. Submissions and contact messages are kept for as long as they remain editorially relevant, and are deleted on request.

Your rights

You can unsubscribe from any issue of the newsletter using the link at the bottom of the email. You may also ask us to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you. Send those requests through our contact page.
