Kujten plans stores in SoHo, Aspen and Miami to expand US footprint
The Parisian cashmere brand plans three openings that will bring its US store network to four locations.

Parisian cashmere brand Kujten plans to open stores in New York’s SoHo, Aspen and Miami, bringing its US store count to four, according to WWD’s October 7 report carried by MSN.
The three planned openings represent a substantial increase from the brand’s existing single-store US footprint. They mark an expansion rather than a first entry into the country, giving Kujten a broader physical platform as it develops its American business.
A broader US retail test
The locations will put Kujten in three distinct markets rather than concentrate its next phase of growth in one city. For a cashmere specialist, the mix also raises a strategic question: how consistently can its products appeal across destinations as different as Aspen and Miami?
The significance is the step up in scale. Moving from one US store to four creates more opportunities for customers to encounter the brand in person, while making execution across multiple locations a larger part of its American operation. The planned footprint alone, however, does not establish the strength of US demand.
Cashmere accessories offer a point of recognition
Recent European fashion coverage provides context for Kujten’s product appeal. In an October 3 article, Croatian publication Super1 highlighted the brand’s patterned scarves, describing them as a popular accessory offered in colours ranging from neutral browns and whites to brighter reds and greens.
The article identified the scarves as 100% cashmere and cited a €100 price on Kujten’s website. It described them being worn with both simple T-shirts and winter knitwear, illustrating a styling proposition that extends beyond cold-weather dressing.
That coverage offers evidence of European editorial visibility, not American sales traction. The new stores will broaden the setting in which Kujten can test whether that product recognition translates into a larger US retail business.
