Neutonic to Enter Nearly 1,000 Walmart Stores in Largest Retail Expansion
The British functional beverage brand is joining Walmart’s new Mood & Mind assortment, pairing broader US distribution with its first four-pack format.

British beverage and supplement brand Neutonic will launch in nearly 1,000 Walmart stores across the United States, marking what the company describes as its largest retail expansion to date. The rollout begins on October 3, 2026, with products also available online.
The drinks will join Walmart’s new Mood & Mind beverage set, an assortment bringing together products positioned around mood, relaxation, social occasions and cognition. For Neutonic, the agreement expands an existing US business rather than marking its entry into the country, and places its productivity-focused proposition within a dedicated functional beverage offering.
New formats accompany the rollout
The Walmart launch will also mark the US retail debut of Neutonic’s refreshed can design and its newly introduced four-pack format, a first for the brand. Refrigerated and shelf-stable single-serve drinks will be offered alongside the multipacks, giving the range a presence in both chilled and ambient formats.
Prices will start at $2.97 for individual cans and $9.96 for four-packs. The four-pack range includes Blue Raspberry, Tropical Ice, Strawberry Lemonade and Wild Citrus. Walmart’s vice president of beverage, Brian Salmon, said the collaboration includes exclusive four-pack options.
The format changes make this more than a distribution announcement: Neutonic is introducing new packaging and a different purchase size at the same time as it reaches more US shoppers. The announcement does not disclose the commercial terms of the Walmart agreement or identify the participating stores.
A place beyond traditional energy drinks
Neutonic markets its beverage around everyday productivity. Its zero-sugar formula contains 120mg of natural caffeine, alongside Cognizin Citicoline, L-Theanine, Alpha GPC and Panax Ginseng. Focus and sustained energy are central to the company’s positioning; the announcement does not provide evidence assessing the drink’s effects.
Walmart’s new assortment gives that positioning a specific retail context. Rather than presenting the drinks solely around conventional energy, the Mood & Mind set groups emerging brands by the needs they target. The announcement describes the initiative as reflecting growing consumer interest in focus, productivity and everyday performance, though it provides no market-size or growth figures.
“Retail has been a strong driver of our growth so far, and this expansion allows us to build on that momentum and is a significant step in scaling Neutonic’s distribution across the U.S.,” said co-founder Chris Williamson.
Building on an existing transatlantic business
Founded in 2023 by Williamson, fitness entrepreneur James Smith, Luke Betts and Shan Hanif, Neutonic already sells across the UK and US through grocery, mass, specialist and fitness retail. Its portfolio extends beyond drinks to Focus Pouches, Focus Blends, Brain Capsules and Creatine.
The strategic significance is broader access to US shoppers through a large retail rollout, supported by a format designed for multiple-can purchases. The announcement establishes the scale of the new Walmart placement, but does not disclose Neutonic’s current US sales or total retail footprint.
