London’s Metaview raises $60m as it plans New York office
The recruiting AI company’s Insight Partners-led Series C will fund new agents, a larger team and a New York office alongside its existing San Francisco hub.

London-based Metaview has raised $60 million (€53.1 million) in Series C funding led by US investor Insight Partners, as it prepares to open a New York office and expand its AI recruiting platform. The planned office will sit alongside existing hubs in London and San Francisco, extending an American presence that also includes a recent California acquisition.
GV, Intrepid Growth Partners, Seedcamp, Vertex Ventures US, Plural and Garuda Ventures also participated. The round brings total funding to $110 million (€97.4 million), according to EU-Startups, and follows a €30.1 million Series B announced a year earlier.
A broader US footprint
Metaview plans to grow its team from 80 to 250 people by the end of 2027. The source does not specify how those roles will be distributed across its locations or give an opening date for New York. The move is an expansion of existing US operations, rather than a first entry into the market.
In August 2026, Metaview announced the acquisition of California-based Reval, an AI-native recruiting company founded by Seth Tilliss and Aditya Gupta. Both founders joined Metaview to accelerate development of fillmore, its autonomous recruiting coworker, which finds candidates, runs personalised outreach and books screening calls.
Taken together, the acquisition, existing San Francisco hub and planned New York office give the US a role in both Metaview’s product development and its operating footprint. The new round adds capital from a US lead investor as the company broadens its offering beyond interview capture into connected hiring workflows.
From interview notes to recruiting agents
Founded in 2018 by Siadhal Magos and Shahriar Tajbakhsh, former product and engineering leaders at Uber and Palantir, Metaview began by capturing hiring conversations. It has recorded more than 6 million interviews and says it is used by more than 7,000 companies, including Deel, Affirm, Navan and Replit.
That interview context now supports agents across sourcing, application review, screening and reporting, according to the company. People set the criteria and make final decisions. Metaview’s stated distinction from prompt-led AI tools is a connected process in which agents learn the role, act on it and use information from each stage to inform the next.
“The best engineering teams have already moved from writing code by hand to orchestrating AI agents that do the work. Recruiting is next,” said Magos, Metaview’s chief executive and co-founder.
The platform connects to more than 62 tools, including Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever and Workday, alongside Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams. Those integrations position its agents to work across employers’ existing recruiting and communications systems.
Capital for product rollout and adoption
Alongside hiring and office expansion, the funding will bring fillmore to general availability and support new specialist agents. Metaview also plans further investment in 10x Recruiting, its community and training programme for talent professionals building and running AI-powered hiring systems.
The strategy couples software development with training the people expected to operate it. For Metaview’s next phase, the US expansion therefore accompanies a broader product shift: from documenting recruiting conversations to carrying out more of the work between identifying candidates and making a hiring decision.
